Hardcore Gaming

If you're like me then you love video games. Just be sure to be extra careful where you decide to play your games.

Lets hope he doesn't sue the Subway system for  not having "anything to grab onto".

Gaming Update: Resistance 3

Hello guys! Just wanted to share something with you. I'm very looking forward to Resistance 3, the concept art and gameplay video/teasers that have been released are simply amazing.

Release date is later this year, that's a long time, but feast your eyes on this candy:

And the latest gameplay video :D

Looking pretty good. I love the dark and eerie feeling it has. Not to mention how sexy those chimera look!

Killzone 3 Beta Live Gameplay

Tomorrow, 12PM EST!

Killzone 3 Beta is Out!

For those in the US region, who have received an email with the PSN Store update and found no Killzone 3 listed, you can find the beta on the European or Japanese PSN Store. US residents will have to wait until later today to be able to download it. Why wait though, when you can just create a free new PSN account to download the beta from the available zones?

See you on the battlefield!

Resident Evil Fan-Made Game (by me :D)

Made this game a couple of years ago using BYOND's dev-tools, or "DreamMaker".

BYOND is a place where people can create games, chat rooms, etc, using BYOND's very own programming language, based off C++, all for free. You can buy a subscription which gives you a few perks, but you don't have to in order to play, create and publish games. It's all free.

It's very easy to get the hang of it, there are several tutorials to help you get started. If you're not interested in making games, you can play the thousands of games already created.

Here's my Resident Evil based game. It's not a masterpiece, but it's fun if you play with friends. I also created a DragonBall RPG a year before this, but it is no longer up.

Link to the Game:

You need to download and install BYOND in order to play games. It's only 2.7MB.

Download here:

Let me know what you think of it! Suggestions are welcome.

If you like it, spread the word! The game hasn't had many people playing it lately and it makes me sad seeing all that hard work programming it seem wasted :(

Gameplay Montage: Battlefield 1943

I've decided to start making gameplay montages of some of my favorite games. Here is a montage of Battlefield 1943 that I made a while back.

I'll probably make a new Youtube account specifically for this purpose. In the meanwhile, check my current Youtube account for some Grid and COD4 gameplay videos (they're pretty old though, I've gotten way better since then :p)

Do the Creep-ah

Love Lonely Island! Heard this song and just had to share it with you guys.

Enjoy!

Killzone 3 Beta Coming Tomorrow

For all of those who didn't make it into the closed beta because you did not have PS Plus, or simply didn't get lucky, do not fear! Every PSN user will be able to download the open beta from the PSN Store this Thursday, February 3rd, around 10am Pacific. The beta was scheduled to release today, February 2nd, but was moved forward a day due to unknown reasons... It's only one day, so no sweat.

Hype yourself up with this gameplay video!

Almighty PS3 hacked!

Geohotz, already famous for hacking the iPhone earlier, has released information to the public about the flaws in Sony's system, the PS3. Geohotz claims he has full control of the system's memory, which is not very good news for Sony. With this power, the PS3's security is able to be bypassed and gives the hacker full control of the system. This means custom firmwares, burned playstation games. We can already imagine where this leads to: PS2 all over again, except with Blurays instead of DVD's this time. A few games have already been ripped and uploaded on torrent sites, and you are able to play them via storage device.

However, this may not be such bad news for Sony. A very large user base is not very tech savvy, and will not take advantage of these exploits, and it's possible we will see a noticeable increase in sales due to these new features...

Only time will tell. What are your plans for your system?
